First off, it was the perfect spring day to propose. The weather was gorgeous, and the wind was awful. We complained about it at the time, but now that I look back on it, it kinda made sense. George wanted the proposal to be based on the Pixar movie Up, and wind was an important part of the movie. Secondly, when you see a good friend of yours ask the woman he loves to be his wife, you can’t help but do a happy dance. The entire time we were setting up, Sarah & Tia showed me all the things he did and made and wrote so I was on the verge of tears the entire time. Dangit, George!

George kept EVERY receipt during their relationship. And categorized them like he was submitting them to the Accounting department. :)

Perfection. :)

They’re coming!

Stalking them from the car.

Woohoo!

I think they like each other. :)

Time for a romantic post-proposal picnic!

Congrats, you guys!!!!!!

After Beth graduated from college, she decided to move to Scotland to manage her family’s country house hotel. And there, she met and fell in love with a lad named Jason, the local hunting dog trainer. Yes, it was all very “Made Of Honor”-ish! Even though destiny had taken Beth out of Texas, you couldn’t take Texas out of her! Which is why she decided to have her wedding close to home.

We were running a little tight on schedule, but Beth was so relaxed and having a good time with her girls!

Meanwhile, Josh hung out with the guys (and tried to understand their heavy accents). When I told him the groom was from Scotland, he didn’t take me literally so he was quite surprised. ;)

Jason with his best friend Colin & brother James, who all traveled across the Atlantic for his big day. Brutha!

Flower girl Mia, who is Jason’s niece. Her “cheese” was really like a cute growl. I loved it!

Fathers & daughters dancing.

Jason made Beth laugh ALL. THE. TIME. :)

Oh Colin. I couldn’t understand a word he said, but he sure is a cheeky fellow. ;)

Naughty Scottish boy!

It’s official: the vacays gave me the cold. Boo. That has meant stuffiness, the annoying feeling of sneezing every minute (but rarely ever sneezing), and the sexy humidifier going on next to my bed. But fortunately, I wasn’t too sick to miss out on yesterday’s wedding! Apologies to all the guests who saw me with red, watery eyes and rubbing my nose like a chipmunk. Now you know!

Beth & her Scottish prince charming got married last night, so it’s bridal time!

Beth is a no-muss, no-fuss kinda gal, and it was really refreshing to have a bride dressed so simply! I absolutely loved her look.

Cutest wedding shoes ever!

Work it, girl!

The Gaylord was jam-packed due to the holidays, but I actually loved having to take Beth around to different spots because people stopped and smiled and gasped at her wedding gorgeousness. I don’t care who you are – that makes you feel beautiful. :)

My favorite.

It’s been a year already since Jonathan & Laura got married. True to their style, Jonathan planned a little surprise for his wifey: an anniversary photo shoot in their wedding attire!

Hair & makeup by the wonderful Jennifer Worrell, who is also a FANTASTIC wedding dress maker!

Betsey Johnson, thankyouverymuch!

It was so much fun to revisit the place where they got married.
